Clearbrook #41 Very Nice Condo

This condo was very, very nice and comfortable, my only complaint is that the staff makes no effort to let you check in early. We travel from CT every year and ski Loon for New Years break. One son of mine does not ski, so we are stuck roaming around town in the cold for 6 hours. This condo was not rented prior to our arrival, even it if was, check out is at 10:00 am, and we stopped in at 9:00 am to let them know we had no place to go. They didn't let us check in until 3:00 pm. Same thing happened last year. Probably won't use Loon Reservation Services next year because of this. It wouldn't take much to get condo ready...even by 1:00 would have been ok.

We actually do make every effort to allow a guest to check in early. While the unit was not rented the night before her arrival, it was rented the night before that and was not scheduled to be cleaned until the day of her arrival. As it was vacation time, all of the housekeepers were extremely busy and cleaned as fast as possible. Had the guest inquired the night before about wanting an early check-in, we could have asked the housekeeper to get there as early as possible. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do when they inquire in the morning of arrival. Also, getting the guest into the unit is not simply a matter of handing them a key. The home to be thoroughly cleaned and inspected before we can allow a guest in there. We do not want them checking into a dirty home and I am sure they do not want that either.
